    Brexit impact update

The United Kingdom's (UK) withdrawal from the European Union (EU) at 11pm on 31 January 2020 didn't impact your policy or services we provide as there was a transition period that ran until 31 December 2020 which allowed the UK and EU to negotiate a new trade agreement. During this time, the UK continued to adhere to European rules, which included any pensions you may have with Phoenix Wealth.

As the transition period is coming to an end, we've produced some questions and answers for you to download here. They explain how your policy and our services may be impacted by Brexit, including the fact that some UK banks and building societies are closing accounts if you live in the EEA/Switzerland.

You can find more information on the Government's Prepare for EU Exit website. You can also contact your financial adviser for further advice and guidance. If you need help finding a financial adviser, please visit Unbiased.

As the transition period finishes on 31 December 2020, we'll continue to update our website with any new developments that may impact you.
