Scams related to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic have escalated in recent weeks with criminals trying a variety of different tactics through texts, email and phone calls to defraud members of the public by exploiting fears and anxieties as people self-isolate.

Fund managers Aberdeen Fund Managers Limited, BMO, Janus Henderson, Aviva Investors, Threadneedle, Standard Life Investments and Legal and General have temporarily suspended trading in their property funds (as well as their relevant feeder funds). This is due to valuation uncertainty amid the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak. No transactions can be made in these funds until the suspension is lifted,

Link Fund Solutions (LFS), who administer the underlying fund will be making capital distributions in phases as and when they manage to sell assets. We’re expecting to receive the second proceeds, between 15% and 20% of the value of the fund on the day of release, on or around, 25 March 2020.

Link Fund Solutions (LFS), who administer the underlying fund will be making capital distributions in phases as and when they manage to sell assets. We’re expecting to receive the first proceeds, between 60% and 70% of the value of the fund on the day of release, on or around, 30 January 2020.

M&G Investments (M&G) has announced that it has suspended trading in the M&G Property Portfolio fund. As the Phoenix Wealth funds shown below invest in this fund, no transactions can be made in the Phoenix Wealth funds until the suspension is lifted. There is also an impact on self-invested policies investing directly in the M&G fund.
