Aviva Investors (Aviva) will be making a series of capital payments, as and when they manage to sell the funds’ assets. We have now received the second capital payment from Aviva of 18.93% (for Life funds) and 19.77% (for Pension funds) of the total net asset value of the funds, as at 18 October 2021.

The Aviva Investors UK Property funds closed on 2 August 2021. Aviva Investors (Aviva) will be making a series of capital payments, as and when they manage to sell the funds’ assets. We have now received the first capital payment from Aviva of 45.59% (for Life funds) and 45.89% (for Pension funds) of the total net asset value of the funds, as at the date they closed.

On Wednesday 19 May 2021 we were notified that the Aviva Investors UK Property Funds are closing on 19 July 2021. Dealing in the funds was suspended in March 2020 due to material uncertainty over the valuation of property within the portfolio, brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since a raft of property funds were forced to suspend dealing in March 2020 amid the height of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, some of those funds have either started trading again, still are suspended, or have subsequently closed.

Link Fund Solutions (LFS), who administer the underlying fund will be making capital distributions in phases as and when they manage to sell assets. We’re expecting to receive the fourth proceed, on or around, 11 December 2020.
